ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do as a Risk Intern in Companjon 

• Contribute to the development of the Risk Function and to fulfill the activities of the risk management framework schedule. 
• Ensure that all policies, processes, and procedures are documented, up to date and operating effectively. 
• Support identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating and reporting risks. 
• Perform root cause analysis and identify gaps and trends. 
• Supporting assurance initiatives and risk projects. 
• Review and challenge of quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessments. 
• Ongoing monitoring risk metrics: e.g. Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Risk Appetite (RAS). 
• Production of high quality reports 
• Work closely with Business Teams. 
• Promote a strong risk culture 
• Support development and coordination of training as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

What you will need to succeed 
 

• Relevant third level qualification in risk, finance, economics or actuarial. 
• Good numerical and analytical skills, eye for detail, ability to understand & resolve complex issues. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels. 
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills. 
• A proactive and motivated mindset. 

COMPETENCES / SOFTSKILLS

• Fluency in English, other European languages a plus.
