ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do as a Product Manager in Companjon

• Ideating, researching, specifying key features of and ultimately designing new insurance solutions, incl. value proposition, target customer group, pricing mechanisms, compensation options & claim mechanisms
• Designing the end-to-end customer journey for a new insurance solution and translating this into tech/development requirements
• Considering feedback and trends from both clients and their partners as well as conducting appropriate research activities to generate customer insights and thereby constantly evolving our insurance solutions portfolio and tailor it to our clients’ needs
• Developing and owning solution development roadmap based on inputs from distribution partners, customers, and business priorities
• Working with other teams to get the relevant inputs for an insurance solutions
• Conducting regular solution performance reviews, working with our clients to optimize existing insurance solutions on a constant basis (i.e. engaging in A/B testing)
• Key Skills:
  1. Proven ability to analyse, prioritize, and communicate customer and partner solution/business requirements
  2. Ability to translate customer needs into insurance solutions
  3. Strong project management and communication skills
  4. Ability to understand and work with tech/underwriting teams
  5. Quantitative approach to solution performance management
  6. Aspiration for high quality and attention to detail
  7. Ability to challenge the status quo, deal with complex problems in a structured and logical manner
  8. Start-up mindset – comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

What you will need to succeed

• 5-7 years of experience in insurance and product development, ideally in add-on embedded insurance
• Experience in General Insurance products
• Familiar with technical aspects of Insurance products (pricing, claims handling etc.)
• Track record of cross-functional product development in an insurance context
• Fluency in English, other European languages a plus
• Bachelor's degree in business or comparable qualifications
• Experience in the digital economy and digital solution design a plus
