JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play an integral part in the marketing department. You'll be responsible for planning, supporting and executing a wide array of marketing activities to build awareness about Companjon and drive demand for our modern insurance solutions. You’ll be involved in areas including content marketing, maintaining the website, developing, and tracking marketing programs, supporting key departments with client onboarding materials, as well as maintaining important and lasting partnerships with agencies for the business.

ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do as a Marketing Specialist in Companjon 
  • Support the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager in the planning and roll-out of the annual marketing and communications strategy and plan. 
  • Translate both generic use cases and specific user journeys into lo-fi wireframes and prototypes that bring our solutions to life for prospective business partners. 
  • Use analytics tools to monitor and report on website traffic and cookies, like Google Analytics and Hotjar, making optimizations for improvement based on findings. 
  • Develop, launch, monitor, and optimise multi-channel B2B paid media campaigns that engage our key verticals and buyer personas, driving them through the demand generation funnel.  
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining website content, engaging with an external agency to facilitate CMS updates and new development projects. 
  • Develop graphic and video content that promotes our brand thought leadership and communicates our value proposition and USP for publishing across multiple channels. 
  • Support the onboarding and management of new business partners with the design and development of product documentation for their customers, both print and digital. 
  • Coordinate and, where needed, execute event participation, including exhibitions, traveling when needed.  
  • Produce and maintain branded company material for both print and digital distribution when required. 
  • Work cross-functionally with other company departments on strategic projects where marketing collaboration is required, such as Companjon’s Growth, Solutions, Insurance, Customer Service, Tech, and HR teams. 
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
What you will need to succeed 
  • 3+ years working in a similar role (Insurtech or B2B tech environment is desired) 
  • Marketing Degree or relevant experience in marketing in a start-up B2B tech environment 
  • Fluency in English and 1 other language 
  • High proficiency in Figma with experience in UI design, ability to translate requirements from Solutions and Tech teams 
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro) and Canva 
  • Knowledge about demand generation funnels, value proposition development, and how to message  
  • Experience with using HubSpot Marketing Hub, specifically with marketing automation/workflows and attribution 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics and Hotjar 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with managing a website CMS (Craft CMS desired) 
  • Experience preparing, launching, monitoring, and optimising pan-European B2B paid media campaigns with a focus on LinkedIn 
  • Experience working in a very fast-paced, fluid environment 
  • Experience working with external agencies 
A plus:  
  • Experience with tradeshow events 
  • Experience with customer engagement programs 
  • Experience with SEO 
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
